JACK FELMAN’S ‘YOU’RE DRIVING ME CRAZY’ @ BONDI PAVILION THEATRE

Yr Driving Me Crazy - GS - IMG_0110

Melbourne playwright Jack Felman’s latest comedy is YOU’RE DRIVING ME CRAZY! Enjoy a delicious and insightful comedy night, spending two hours re-discovering modern Jewish family life in Australia, via four generations of the Pszeszekowski family, and watch them drive each other totally crazy.

Initially we meet the great-grandparents Mania and Velvel Pszeszekowski, Holocaust survivors, who are still trying to understand the ever-changing world. Together they explain how they understand the microcosm of the differing attitudes in the behaviour of their son Allen, and their grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Felman’s show is only playing a very brief season in Sydney after a sell-out season in Melbourne. The show stars the fine comic talents of  Lena Fiszman, Allen Brostek and Jack himself. During the past fifteen years, they been entertaining audiences in both Melbourne and Sydney.

This is humorous family comedy at its best and has broad appeal.  Whilst there are some Yiddish words in the show, they do not need any translation as the performers convey the meaning indelibly.

Recommended, Jack Felsten’s YOU’RE DRIVING ME CRAZY is playing the Bondi Pavilion Theatre, 1 Queen Elizabeth Drive, Bondi Beach until Sunday 29th November. Performances at 8pm. Running time 2 hours with one interval.
