YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN – the musical

Charles Schulz’s beloved PEANUTS comic strip, comes brilliantly alive on the stage, in Clark Gesner’s family-friendly Broadway musical comedy, YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN. Explore one day in the life through the eyes of Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang friends, Lucy, Sally, Schroeder, Linus, and Snoopy. Charles Schultz’s PEANUTS comic strips have delighted countless generations with their joyful innocence.

Always considered to be a “good man” by his friends, five year old CHARLIE BROWN wants to win the heart of the Little-Red-Haired-Girl, See his friend Lucy, and her crush, piano-player Schroeder. Of course Snoopy and Linus constantly daydream, Snoopy battles with the Red Barron, and all the gang take pleasure in the simplest things in life. Enjoy watching all the friends delivering amazing one-liners, whist they battle with life, kites, school, baseball, misunderstandings and the joys of friendships, before finally becoming fully aware of everything that makes them happy.

Wonderful and evocative vignettes, all tunefully showcasing all the delightful songs, including charming memorable lyrics. The songs include “My Blanket and Me” “The Doctor is In (Dr. Lucy)” “Beethoven Day” “My New Philosophy” “T-E-A-M (The Baseball Game)” “Little Known Facts” “Suppertime” “Happiness”.

Well worth seeing is dancer Sophie Lewis, who is truely magnificent, constantly dancing, twirling, and hand-standing as Linus’s Blanket, during the song “My Blanket and Me”. Kudos to the wonderful cast of six talented performers, and all the creatives of YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN, absolute crowd-pleaser, and thoroughly entertaining for all ages, a must-see production.
