They employ a retired superstar of the ring, Richard the Lionheart, to coach them in the way of the mat, and the mania that accompanies the specious sporting spectacle causes them to become local celebrities.
In a gaudy giddying production, these flying meres hammer blow and half nelson their way through bouts of broad humour with no holds barred.
These terrors of the turn-buckle are played with tongue in cheek aplomb by Nathalie Baye, Marilou Berry, Audrey Fleurot and Corinne Masiero who all seem to relish the de trop and frenzied manner of the film, directed by Jean Marc Rudnicki.
