A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE TO HAVE RETURN SEASON

Red Line Productions is joining forces with Glen Street Theatre for an exclusive return season of A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE from January 30 to February 4.Eddie Carbone is a Brooklyn longshoreman obsessed with his 17-year-old  niece Catherine. When Catherine falls in love with a newly arrived immigrant,  Eddie’s jealousy erupts in a rage that consumes him, his family, and his world.

Italian-American immigrant life colours this searing drama of love and revenge set in 1950’s Brooklyn. Eddie Carbone is devoted to his wife Beatrice and his niece Catherine. Then Beatrice’s cousins Marco and Rudolpho, having fled the poverty of Sicily, enter the US illegally, desperate to find work. As Rudolpho and Catherine fall in love, Eddie’s devotion to his niece is no longer touching, but terrifying.

Joined by Anthony Gooley (Calamity Jane, One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest) for strictly 8 performances, this is a must-see for anyone who missed out on their  recent sold-out season or would love the chance to see it again.

Sydney Arts Guide saw it in October and loved it.
