Coinciding with the Australian digital premiere of this new wildly entertaining comedy-horror film, Fantastic Film Festival Australia (FFFA) presents a live in-discussion event on Sunday 6 September at 8pm with director Jesse O’Brien and stars Jordan Waller (who also wrote the film) and Kathryn Wilder. The discussion will be hosted by FFFA artistic director Hudson Sowada. Registration is free but essential here.

Director Jesse O’Brien is an Australian filmmaker with a background in postproduction and visual effects. He is the writer/director of the science fiction feature Arrowhead, which was the recipient of the John Hinde Award for Science Fiction by the Australian Writer’s Guild. Two Heads Creek is Jesse’s second feature as director, taking another step with Australian genre towards the international stage.

Writer and star Jordan Waller has written two feature films – Off The Rails (2019), starring Judi Dench and Sally Phillips, and Brexit comedy horror Two Heads Creek (2019) in which he plays the lead. For theatre, he has written and performed his one man show about his life growing up as a sperm donor baby with lesbian mums.

Star Kathryn Wilder trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. After leaving drama school she joined Kenneth Branagh’s Theatre Company and played Ophelia in Hamlet, Peter/Apothecary in Romeo and Juliet, Mopsa in The Winter’s Tale and Joyce in Harlequinade. Annabelle in Two Heads Creek is Kathryn’s first leading role in a film. Kathryn appeared as Karen in Ready Player One and Carrie in Branagh’s Murder on the Orient Express and Judith in Branagh’s All is True
