THE GRIZZLIES : A STORY OF TRANSFORMATION : TEN DIGITAL PASSES

THE GRIZZLIES tells the inspiring true story of first-year teacher Russ Sheppard, who takes a temporary assignment to teach at a high school in Kugluktuk, a small arctic town with the highest suicide rate in North America.

The young teacher has no success in getting his indigenous Inuit students to turn up for class. He sees many of  of the teens loitering around town drinking and smoking.

Sheppard thinks outside the square, and tries a different approach. He will offer to teach them the sport of lacrosse, convinced that this will get the students to come back to class and motivate them to go after a dream.

Sheppard’s inspired approach sees his students transform their lives and revitalise the local community.

THE GRIZZLIES has already had a successful cinema release earlier this year and is now going to be released on DVD and digital on  Wednesday 7 July, 2021.
