Greta falls asleep in her bedroom, and we experience her vivid dreams, as a magnificent costumed fantasy with spellbinding visuals.

WINDMILL THEATRE COMPANY’S ‘GIRL ASLEEP’ COMES TO THE BIG SCREEN

The new Australian film  GIRL ASLEEP has been  billed as, ‘a journey into the absurd, scary and beautiful heart of the teenage mind.’

Bethany Whitmore plays the lead character Greta Driscoll who is about to turn fifteen. Greta  is fearful of leaving her childhood behind, it contained all the things that gave her comfort.

Greta is living in a world of boredom with her only friend Elliott, played by Harrison Feldman, until her parents throw her a surprise 15th birthday party and she is flung into a parallel place, a place a little violent and ludicrous, which propels her out of her comfort zone.
