The AAADA Sydney Antiques Fair comes to Royal Randwick Racecourse 27-31 August – a fabulous annual feast for collectors and art-lovers alike!

The Australian Antique and Art Dealers’ Association (AAADA) Fair offers for sale the finest and most diverse range of fine art and antiques in one place, at one time at this annual event in Sydney.

The AAADA fairs are Australia’s only international quality fairs and every item is fully vetted for authenticity and backed by the reputation of Australia’s finest antique and art dealers.

With more than 40 exhibitors showing the best of their collections in an elegant and exciting new space – The Kensington Room on the ground floor of the new Royal Randwick Grandstand – the popular annual event is again sure to attract thousands – from the committed collector to the curious newbie.

Visitors will be able to see and buy from the most diverse range of antiques ever assembled in Sydney – from antiquities to  Art Nouveau, Art Deco & other select pieces – all sourced by AAADA members throughout Australia and from all over
the world.

Although the emphasis is on showcasing antiques, the fair also includes some individual contemporary items of particular quality and merit.

AAADA NSW president Hartley Cook said one of the latest trends was to ‘go modern with antiques’.

“People who aren’t necessarily dedicated collectors don’t need to fill their home with antiques but may have a few special items. That could be an antique dining table with modern chairs, a modern house with antique paintings or contemporary décor with a ceramic vase for instance. The possibilities are endless!”
