The Randwick Ritz team have come up with a great idea to keep people’s spirit up as Sydneysiders cope with another extended lockdown.

They have set up a community video and DVD swap library out the front of the cinema complex.

Anyone is welcome to check out the library, borrow a movie to watch and return, or donate some of their old VHS tapes or DVDs so that others can enjoy some great movies.

On another note, Randwick Ritz is celebrating its 85th year next year. Management is getting together a publication and is asking Ritz lovers to share their favourite Ritz experience/s with coordinator Jessica at jessica@movingstory.com.au,

Whilst the Ritz is closed, cinema lovers can still access an excellent selection of arthouse films through the Ritz’s streaming  service, Ritz at Home.
