In MISS FISHER AND THE CRYPT OF TEARS the Honourable Miss Phryne Fisher, lady detective, escapes the small screen and takes off on a global adventure in Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears. Romantic wayside stops in the Far East, glamorous sojourns in the mansions of London, and a battle to survive the rolling sands of the Arabian Desert long enough to find the missing treasure, solve numerous murders and break all aviation records as she wings her way home again!

The movie has been adapted for the screen by Deb Cox from the original novels by Kerry Greenwood.

The film directed by Tony Tilse stars Essie Davis, Nathan Page, Miriam Margolyes, Daniel Lapaine, Jacqueline McKenzie, Kal Naga, Ian Bliss, John Waters, Rupert Penry Jones, William Zappa, Ashleigh Cummings, Hugo Johnstone-Burt, Izabella Yena.

The film opens in cinemas on the 27th February.
