Doing improv is like going to a party: it’s excruciatingly awkward and deeply inadvisable to do it alone.  Luckily, Maddie doesn’t plan on flying solo – join her and a different special guest +1 each night for an hour of completely improvised fun!

An award-winning performer with more than a decade of experience under her belt, Maddie Parker has firmly established herself as one of Sydney’s favourite improvisers. She performs regularly with the Improv Theatre Sydney Ensemble, and as a member of local troupe Confetti Gun. She is a three-time Cranston Cup grand finalist, a Sydney University Theatresports champion, and teaches with Improv Theatre Sydney.

Further afield, Maddie’s performance credits span New Zealand, Germany and the US, including the New Zealand Improv Festival, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, PlayShop Wellington, ComedySportz Berlin, and Upright Citizens Brigade’s Del Close Marathon in NYC. Improv is the thing she loves doing most, and she is thrilled to be making her Sydney Comedy Festival solo debut.
