INNER WEST SIDE: THE MUSICAL is the head-banging, boot-stomping story of a North Shore runaway who strolls into Newtown (on Daddy’s dollar), determined to become Queen of King St.

To the tune of all-original Aussie alt, this cautionary tale with Triple J theme music is brought to life by their very own ciggie-rolling rock band.

Springboarding out of WAAPA and straight into Fringe, our company is chock-a-block with up-and-coming talent to watch:

Laura MacDonald as Andi ~ WAAPA (2017), signed with RGM. Recent roles include Masha in Chekhov’s Three Sisters, Joanna in Noel Coward’s Present Laughter, and Miranda in Shakespeare’s The Tempest.

Rihanna McCourt as Lana ~ WAAPA (2017), having trained in Musical Theatre in Melbourne & Brisbane. Previous roles include Irina in Chekov’s Three Sisters, Olivia in Twelfth Night, Monica Reed in Noel Coward’s Present Laughter and Mrs Peachum in The Threepenny Opera. 

Gautier Pavlovic-Hoppa as Dan ~ NIDA (2016) his NIDA credits  include The Greeks (dir. John Sheedy), Choreography (dir. Garry Stewart) and Hunger (dir. Samantha Young). Recently, Gautier has appeared as Mars in Space Cats (Brevity Theatre Co., dir Samantha Young), Trudolyabov in Notes From Underground (Sydney Chamber Opera, dir. Patrick Nolan) and Jared in Blackrock (WhiteBox Theatre, dir. Kim Hardwick). 

Elouise Eftos as Monica ~ WAAPA (2017, 2013) and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City (2015). Signed with MCSM, previous productions include The Catalina’s of Crawley Bay (2015), The Snake Pit (2017) and The 7 Deadly Sinners at Perth’s Fringe festival earlier this year.

Roy Joseph as CC Razor - WAAPA (2017), signed with Morrissey Management. Recently featured in the ABC’s new comedy Back In Very Small Business.
