HOW TO CHANGE THE WORLD AND MAKE BANK DOING IT at LIMELIGHT ROOM, Limelight on Oxford

Bold and innovative theatre, brand new Australian play, meeting the denizens of Sydney suburbia set in a shopping centre. Interesting charity fundraising message drama, about the different methodology between Volunteers and Non-Volunteers (un)successfully collecting donations for charities, and their questionable motives with rejection avoidance their only concern, whilst being constantly economical with the truth. You are made to wonder what kind of multi-national corporate black hole is being used to make disappear every year, all of the combined millions of dollars of charity donations.

These fundraisers deliver expert conversion of shoppers who are intent on the adrenaline of Retail Therapy to improve their mood, into the unique world of Retail Philanthropy by credit-carding the requisite $30 per month.

You will hear dozens of great reasons to never ever give any your money to charities that pay $30.00 per hour to collectors, and remember that collectors receive commissions too. The Reader’s Digest Methodology is still be used by charities, that knowingly guilt you into never ever cancelling your direct debit monthly $30.00 banking payments to the charity. Ensemble cast excelled in their multiple roles, constantly providing clever anecdotes about avoiding pests.

Each infrequent use of socially offensive language, caused howls of laughter from many of the millennials and Generation X in the audience. Expletives and Profanities galore provided light comic relief. Especially grating was the absolutely hilarious scene when EARTH’S CHILDREN charity supervisor Martin tells employee Eve, that EARTH’S CHILDREN is not a charity (for her).
