Sydney Arts Guide has two double passes to give away to the next show coming up at the Eternity Playhouse.
Darlinghurst Theatre Company’s new show is GOOD WORKS, one of the finest plays by the late Nick Enright. One of the most accomplished playwrights Australia has ever produced, his large body of work has truly stood the test of time.
GOOD WORKS is set across several decades and over three generations. The play centres on two boyhood friends whose family histories shape them as men. It is a tale of past crimes and misdemeanors.
Experienced director Iain Sinclair has got together a strong cast, Taylor Ferguson, Lucy Goleby, Anthony Gooley, Stephen Multari, Jamie Oxenbould and Toni Scanlan, to bring Enright’s intriguing story to life.
Sinclair is excited to be directing GOOD WORKS, “Audiences can expect a very complex ride with a very clear emotional through-line, so you will get the best of both worlds. It is a seriously sophisticated piece of work by an artist at the top of his game. With this play you will be pulled all the way through and come out the other end and with a much a clearer feeling of what it’s like to grow up in a small town and to be a little different.”
GOOD WORKS previews at the Eternity Playhouse on the 31 October, opens on 4 November and plays through till 29 November.
The giveaway passes with this post have been post and the winners have been advised.
