Foundry616 is delighted to welcome back one of Australia’s classiest performers and most talented young singer songwriters.

If you haven’t been lucky enough to catch her yet, Frances’ music is jazz-oriented but original and with a broad popular appeal. Her shows are a mix of her own enchanting swing, ballads and blues as well as her unique take on some timeless classics.

In the past year or two, Frances completed a successful eight-show East Coast tour, as well as performing at festivals including Wangaratta Jazz, Sydney International Women’s Jazz, Manly Jazz, Hobart Festival of Voices and Devonport Jazz. Frances has supported Dionne Warwick, Gregory Porter and other international artists here in Australia.

Frances captivates her audiences with a combination of her genuinely warm stage presence together with a voice and style that are uniquely her own. In addition to Frances on piano and vocals, the seven-piece line-up for this show at Foundry616 includes some of Australia’s finest jazz musicians.
