An “intimate and authentic” live concert, Eric Clapton: Lockdown Sessions, will play one night only on December 1, 2021 in selected cinemas across the country.

English rock and blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter, Eric Clapton’s live shows at The Royal Albert Hall were cancelled due to the global pandemic in February 2021. Determined to play, Clapton brought his band together in the English countryside to create a unique show – a stripped-back and intimate performance of acoustic and rock interpretations, interspersed with exclusive behind-the-scenes insights from the classic album ‘Slowhand’. All recorded in DOLBY ATMOS for a truly unique experience exclusive to cinemas.

Overseen by Clapton’s legendary long-time Grammy-winning producer Russ Titelman and recorded live at Cowdray House in West Sussex, the performance finds Clapton and his bandNathan East (Bass and Vocals), Steve Gadd (Drums) and Chris Stainton (Keyboards) revisiting some of his best-loved selections from an extensive repertoire. In addition, they perform an assortment of songs from Clapton’s contemporaries including cracker covers of “Black Magic Woman” and “Man of the World.”

Lockdown Sessions is a mesmerising 90 minutes of Blues and classic material that every Eric Clapton fan will absolutely love.
