Are black holes newsworthy? Should menus tell the unvarnished truth?

Three performers play a variety of characters in comic sketches, stand-up, and songs in the latest science comedy show STIR FRIED SCIENCE  from science-based theatre group Dramatis Scientificae who “help working scientists share their experiences and their research, through narrative, theatre and film.”

It is a cornucopia of science, comedy, music and a smidgen of philosophy with guest appearances each night by local scientists from fields ranging from astronomy, physics, genetics, climate change, sustainable households, and immunology.         

The performers are: Dr Phil, a physicist and science communicator; and thespians Michele Conyngham and Patrick Trumper.

Local guest scientists include Sean Elliott, Alyshah Ladhu, Catriona Nguyen-Robertson, and Melissa James.

STIR FRIED SCIENCE has been created with the support of National Science Week and Inspiring Australia.

While designed for an adult audience, it is family friendly.
