A spectacular program of live music and entertainment with some of Australia’s best performers including Casey Donovan, Busby Marou and Caravana Sun will be part of a two-day Australia Day Weekend event on Sydney’s Cronulla Beach on Sunday January 26 and Monday January 27, 2020.

Now in its 23rd year, this event attracts 35,000 to the shores of Cronulla Beach each year. Additionally there will be one of the largest family events with live performances and an array of fun activities at the Menai Australia Day event.

Councillor Carmelo Pesce, Mayor of Sutherland Shire Council said this event becomes more and more popular each year and it’s great that we have some of Australia’s best Indigenous performers lined up for our Australia Day Weekend in 2020.

This year I’m also very proud to announce that Sutherland Shire Council has chosen Kurranulla Aboriginal Corporation as our charity for 2020. The Corporation works with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of all ages to meet the needs of people with disabilities and their carers who live in the local area added Carmelo Pesce.
