COMEDIAN EMILY TRESSIDER PRESENTS CRAZY IS @ THE RECORD CRATE GLEBE

What really makes us human? Sure, we have opposable thumbs, but, as Emily Tresidder points out (strangely, using her thumbs), it’s most likely because we can define so much as crazy, and indeed can be whatever crazy is. Even with those thumbs, do we actually know what the term really means? Emily Tresidder’s new stand up show explores crazy.

Emily’s story is that she started her career in sketch comedy and in its evolution she has worked with different theatre companies, businesses and charities offering entertainment in the form of the world’s best medicine, laughter.

Over the last year she has been touring her hit show  “Absolutely Ridiculous” around Australia. Rip it Up gave her 4 stars at Adelaide Fringe and The West Australian described her act as having “incredible confidence, ferocity and a wicked sense of humor”.  A regular at Sydney’s most recognised comedy rooms, Emily’s understanding of how hilariously crazy life is every day should keep you well entertained.

Emily’s new show explores the Zen of crazy and the myriad of things that have come to be defined as crazy. Try and catch Emily at the Record Crate next Tuesday evening 17th November at 7.30pm. The Record Crate is situated at  34 Glebe Point Road Glebe. Tickets are just $5 each.

Sydney Arts Guide has two double passes to give away to the show. Be the first to contact- editor.sydneyartsguide@gmail.com. Winners will be advised by return email.
