PUBLIC VOTING CLOSES SOON: CAUSE FILM FESTIVAL

CAUSE FILM FESTIVAL is the festival with a huge heart.

CAUSE FILM FESTIVAL is an annual Short Film Festival providing a platform for film makers to promote worthy causes through the art of film and entertainment.    The annual festival supports charities while giving filmmakers the opportunity to showcase their work and promote the charity/cause they endorse.

"We are an annual short film festival with a big goal. To support film makers, charities and causes to spread their message to a wider audience. All profits made are donated to the cause or charity represented by the winning film. "

There are 10 films (1 min – 12 mins)which are voted on by the public. The finalists are able to raise their overall score through public voting which will count as a percentage towards their overall score. The purpose of the public voting is to ensure that filmmakers are able to spread their awareness messages far and wide.  There is also a prestigious judging panel with the winners being announced at a Screening and Awards night at Riverside Theatres, [Facebook] Parramatta (Tickets ) on the 8th of March.

With 6 awards to be won and a total of over AU$7,000 worth of prizes, including a full-page spread in StarCentral magazine for Best Actor, Australian Film Institute membership and Camera Hire equipment among other prizes, filmmakers are coming out in force to attend this fantastic event. But the top prize which is for Best Film is a donation of all the film festival profits to be awarded to the winner’s nominated charity.
