AUSTRALIAN FAMILIES INVITED TO BESTEST VIRTUAL CHRISTMAS CAROLS

It’s no secret that families across the country have had it tough this year. Now Australia’s favourite family retailer is inviting families all around Australia to get together and celebrate the magic of Christmas, with an exciting free virtual community Christmas event. An initiative by Best&Less, The Bestest Virtual Christmas Carols, is being held on Sunday 6 December at 6:30pm AEDT in support of children’s education charity The Smith Family.

Hosted by Australian TV personality and recording artist, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, the special family event will bring together a range of Australian talent to celebrate the festive season and connect families in a fun and safe way. Performers include reigning The Voice winner Chris Sebastian, singer/songwriter/dancer Timomatic and children’s entertainers The Fairies.

Families will be able to sing a-long to range of classic Christmas Carols, as well as modern favourites, with a special surprise appearance by a very jolly guest!

Rod Orrock, CEO, Best&Less says, “Carols by Candlelight is a standout event for families at Christmas time. With many regular public events being cancelled, we wanted to give people the opportunity to get together and continue to enjoy the celebration with family this year.”

The Bestest Virtual Christmas Carols will be held on Sunday 6 December between 6:30pm-7:30pm AEDT, streaming via Instagram live on the Best&Less page.

Host Natalie Bassingthwaighte said, “I’m so excited to kick-start the festive season with this revamped family event. For what is normally an annual family outing for my family, together we can make this the Bestest Virtual Christmas Carols ever! Can’t wait to see you all there!”

The Bestest Virtual Christmas Carols will also be raising money for Drought Angels, who Best&Less support on an ongoing basis.
