ANDRE RIEU 70 YEARS YOUNG : EIGHT DOUBLE PASSES

Beloved Dutch violinist, conductor and entertainer André Rieu will acknowledge his landmark 70th birthday with a special worldwide cinema event which takes audiences on a journey through his extraordinary career. 

ANDRE RIEU : 70 YEARS YOUNG is curated by the Maestro himself – André has personally selected his most treasured concert highlights to create the ultimate André Rieu concert experience for his fans to enjoy. 

This unique anniversary celebration will take cinema audiences around the world, with some of Andre’s most memorable performances including Schönbrunn Vienna, Radio City Music Hall New York and the Coronation Concert in Amsterdam, in their full glory on the cinema screen. 

As part of the celebration, André Rieu will reminisce in an exclusive interview with cinema host Charlotte Hawkins about his life, love and music, while inviting his cinema audience on an exclusive tour of his home in Maastricht.

The King of the Waltz shares insights into his incredible journey; from growing up in a musical family; his church choir days; his marriage to Marjorie; The Salon Orchestra, forming The Johann Strauss Orchestra and touring the world with them for over thirty years to the breakaway success of The Second Waltz and his record-breaking world tours. 

Special surprise guests will also join the party by sharing their birthday messages!
