Tooth and Sinew in association with Bakehouse Theatre Company is presenting Scottish playwright Anthony Neilson’s play YEAR OF THE FAMILY. Previous Neilson plays that Sydney audiences have seen include The Wonderful World Of Dissocia and Edward Gant’s Amazing Feats Of Loneliness.

Neilson wrote this incisive play in response to the United Nations announcement of the 1994 International  Year Of The Family. The features family dysfunction, brainwashing, sexual voyeurism and incest, showing a different, darker side to family life that sadly some people face.

YEAR OF THE FAMILY will be performed at one of Sydney’s newest permanent theatre venues, the Kings Cross Theatre, Level 2, Kings Cross Hotel, 244-248 William Street, Kings Cross.

Richard Hilliar will direct and the play stars Peter-William Jamieson, Brendan Miles, Brooke Ryan, Nicole Wineberg & David Woodland.

YEAR OF THE FAMILY will play between 6th and 20th February. Performance times Tuesdays to Saturdays  at 8pm and Sundays at 5pm.
