This is a production which should generate plenty of interest in these turbulent times.

Well known Sydney theatre identity and journalist Van Badham has come up with a new play entitled BLACK HANDS DEAD SECTION which charts the rise and fall of the Baader Meinhof gang which came to prominence in Germany during the 1960s and 1970s. The group started off as idealistic student activists and ended up becoming international terrorists.

Van Badham’s play has been billed as a ‘sweeping epic’. The play features a large cast of no less than thirty actors, a scale rarely seen in independent theatre in Sydney.

BLACK HANDS DEAD SECTION will run at the PACT Theatre, Erskineville between August 3 and 13. Performance times are Wednesdays to Saturdays at 7pm.
