Expressions of Interest are now open for a PPCA-Australia Council partnership to support Australian artists to create new sound recordings.

“You can apply for any costs primarily associated with the creation of a sound recording, which may also involve costs associated with the promotion of that recording.”

The amount of the partnership is  $15,000 and Expressions of Interest close: 7 March 2018, for projects starting after 25 June 2018.  More details on the website.

PPCA represents thousands of Australian recording artists when their music is used in public. In 2015 PPCA distributed almost $33 million to its registered artists and record labels. Registration for Australian artists is free.

The Australia Council is the Australian Government’s arts funding and advisory body. The Council supports artists and arts organisations to create and present artistically adventurous work, and delivers national and international strategic activity which develops markets and audiences for Australian work.
