INNER WEST OPEN STUDIO TRAIL

The Inner West Open Studio Trail opens on Saturday 10th March and will showcase over 100 studios, galleries and ARIs (Artist Run Initiatives).

Over two weekends  there are art experiences aplenty for residents and visitors with a range of workshops, tours, exhibitions and openings including Art on the GreenWay, which is on and around the expansive Lilyfield Road Pedestrian Bridge in Lilyfield.

Take a Walk on the Wildside Tour: a night time foraging experience

Join artist and wild food advocate, Diego Bonetto,(Pictured above) for a night time foraging tour as part of the Art on the GreenWay and Inner West Open Studio Trail Launch. Bring your own torch!

Saturday 10 March 5.30pm - 8.30pm 4 x 20 minute tours between 5.30pm - 8.30pm. 25 persons per tour. Free event but bookings required.
Afternoon Drinks on the Balcony

Join the Lennox Street Studios artists for “drinks on the balcony’ for an informal opportunity to chat with them about their practice. Thirty-five artists occupy studios at Lennox Street, so you will be able to talk to artists from a broad range of disciplines, from painters to sculptors, printmakers to photographers and much, much more.

Goat Gallery Workshop

Join artist Jann French at the Jimmy Little Centre for her children's workshop where she will teach kids how to draw or sculpt from life, with a visit by some little furry friends. For 8-12 year olds.

Saturday 10 March, 11am -12noon. Nanny Goat Hill/ Jimmy Little Centre, 19 Cecily Street, Lilyfield

Bookings essential but if you miss out on the morning workshop you can join the them between 12.30-2.30 for an all ages informal goat drawing and sculpting session in the centre.
