One Double Pass To See Back In Time @ Factory Theatre Marrickville

BTTF

Sydney’s leading Festival for cult and underground films, the Sydney Underground Film Festival (SUFF) has announced its line up for the 2015 Festival, taking place between the  17th and the 20th September at the Factory Theatre, 105 Victoria Road, Marrickville.

Over four big days, the Festival will screen over 100 films sourced from the very best in subversive, experimental, and controversial films internationally, including featuring Australian premieres, retrospectives and Q&A screenings alongside masterclasses and special musical performances.

Festival director Stefan Popescu said “Over the past year, we have scoured the globe for the most subversive, off the wall and out there films we could possibly find. The resulting program is a celebration of everything that cinema should be; challenging, intimate, frightening, playful and fun, and we can’t wait to share it with Sydney”.

One of the  highlights of the  Festival will be the screening of the film BACK IN TIME.

Celebrating the original film’s 30th anniversary, Back in Time takes a look at the impact the Back to the Future movies has had on our culture. From the iconic DeLorean DMC-12 time machine to Marty McFly’s handy hoverboard, this adoring documentary charts the trilogy’s evolution from its conception to its status as one of cinema’s most beloved treasures.

As October 21st 2015 – aka the date Marty, Doc and Jennifer visited in Back to the Future II – approaches, Back in Time serves as a monument to the vastness of the series’ enduring global fandom.

Featuring interviews with director Robert Zemeckis, producer Steven Spielberg, stars Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson, composer Huey Lewis and mega-fans including Dan Harmon (Community, Rick and Morty), this is a must-see for film buffs, children of the ‘80s, and anyone who’s ever wished they had a flux capacitor.

Please note- The double pass offer associated with this post has been won.
