Dance: The Royal Ballet screening of Giselle with Natalia Osipova (she is amazing) and the Royal Ballet screening of A Winter’s Tale with Edward Watson  (he is incredible). Scattered Rhymes by Rafael Bonachela for Sydney Dance (part of their Louder Than Words double bill) and the Australian Ballet in Chroma and Manon. Also the Ballet Boyz .

Musicals: Definitely  Rockdale’s Next To Normal (a total knockout rave rave RAVE ) with special mentions for Hayes Sweet Charity and Drowsy Chaperone and Willoughby’s Jesus Christ Superstar.

Drama: Peter Carroll in Oedipus Rex, Downstairs Belvoir, The STC’s Kryptonite and Bell Shakespeare’s Henry V. Special mention also to Belvoir’s awesome A Christmas Carol.

Opera:- Teddy Tahu Rhodes as Don Giovanni (Opera Australia ) also their Eugene Onegin.

Classical music:- would have to be the heavenly Tognetti’s Beethoven by the Australian Chamber Orchestra

A passionate theatre person Lynne is originally from Sydney and holds a B.Ed (Art) - a postgraduate Diploma in Information Management (Librarianship) and an MA in Theatre. While living in London ( 2002 -2007 ) Lynne completed the dance criticism course at Sadlers Wells linked in with Chichester University. Lynne has worked for both Ticketek and Ticketmaster here in Australia and was involved with the original production of THE BOY FROM OZ An Ausdance member Lynne is passionate about dance and has studied ballet and Flamenco. Before moving to London she photographed the Sydney Dance Company and Australian Ballet among other companies and has exhibited internationally. Lynne is a SAMAG member and a volunteer at the Art Gallery of NSW. Currently Lynne writes for arthub, danceinforma and sydneyartsguide.
