The inaugural British Film Festival is well under way in Sydney, screening at Palace cinemas, Verona and Norton streets. As well as  screenings the finest of contemporary British film- making, the Festival also includes screenings of the British Film Institute’s top five films:- THE THIRD MAN, BRIEF ENCOUNTER, LAWRENCE OF ARABIA, THE 30 STEPS and GREAT EXPECTATIONS.
