Reviews of Screen, Stage, Performing Arts, Literary Arts, Visual Arts, Cinema + Theatre

A warm welcome to Sydney Arts Guide – The website has gone through many changes since it first began online in 2005 as a stage and screen review site. With our twenty accredited specialist reviewers, the website mow provides coverage across the arts spectrum from the performing arts to the literary and visual arts.

Our website is very popular. Since August 2013 until 31st December 2015, we have had more than 2.3 million page views, from our huge Australian readership plus our well-read international readership.

Sydney Arts Guide is a key part of stage and film culture, and exists to celebrate the art of performance, in theatres and cinemas.

At the end of each calendar year, Sydney Arts Guide announces its awards in both Stage and Screen categories.

There is always so much good work going on in all areas of the arts. If in your cultural travels you see something that takes your fancy, please do drop us a line, and we will try and get it covered. Alternatively, if you feel like putting together a short review, we will consider it for publication.

We hope that you will become a regular visitor to this website, and also follow Sydney Arts Guide at Facebook and Twitter

Each year Sydney Arts Guide also covers the major overseas film award event ceremonies,  when Australian movie films and Australians are nominated for awards.

We value all feedback that you are happy to provide.
